Overview

AMarkets has been in the forex market since 2007 — originally as Adrenalin Forex, rebranded to AMarkets some years later. The broker is headquartered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and carries offshore licenses from Comoros (MISA T2023284), the Cook Islands FSC, and SVG. With 552 tradable instruments and ECN account execution measured in tens of milliseconds, AMarkets is one of the most instrument-rich offshore brokers in the market.

Regulation & safety

AMarkets stacks three offshore regulators: the Comoros Mwali International Services Authority (MISA, license T2023284), the Cook Islands Financial Services Commission (LLC14486/2023), and the St. Vincent FSA (22567BC). None of these is a top-tier license — there's no FCA, ASIC, or NFA in the stack — but the multi-jurisdiction approach is broader than most pure-SVG competitors.

The broker is also a FINACOM member, which provides private dispute resolution and a compensation scheme of up to €20,000 per claim. This is the standard backstop for offshore brokers without a state-backed investor compensation fund.

Account types & minimum deposit

Three primary account types plus Islamic variants:

  • Standard — $100 minimum, floating spread from 1.3 pips, no commission
  • ECN — $200 minimum, floating spread from 0.2 pips with per-lot commission
  • Zero — $200 minimum, floating spread from 0.0 pips with commission

The execution speed advantage shows up on ECN and Zero accounts — 35 to 50 milliseconds in our measurements, comparable to the fastest brokers in the offshore segment.

Fees, spreads & costs

Standard-account spreads at 1.3 pips on EUR/USD are middle-of-the-road. The ECN tier at 0.2 pips plus commission is the better cost profile for any trader doing more than a few lots a day. Zero account is the raw-spread tier; per-lot commission applies.

No deposit fees. Withdrawal fees and timing depend on method — crypto rails are fastest, e-wallets and cards process in 1–3 business days.

Trading platforms

MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are the core platforms — desktop, web, and mobile. The proprietary AMarkets App adds a touch-first mobile interface that pulls from the same liquidity pool as the MT platforms.

Built-in extras: AutoChartist pattern recognition and a copy-trading marketplace.

Asset class coverage

552 instruments — among the widest in the offshore segment:

  • 44 forex pairs
  • 427 stock CFDs (US and global)
  • 27 cryptocurrencies
  • 19 ETFs
  • 16 indices
  • 11 commodities (oil, gas, wheat, soy)
  • 7 metals
  • 2 bonds

Maximum leverage scales by equity level and asset class up to 1:3000 — extremely high, requiring careful risk management.

Deposits & withdrawals

Standard rails: bank wire, credit/debit cards, e-wallets (WebMoney, Skrill, Neteller), plus cryptocurrency deposits in Bitcoin, Tether, and other major digital assets. No deposit fees on any method. Withdrawals typically clear within 1 business day on crypto and e-wallet methods; bank wire is slower.

Customer support

24/7 support availability across live chat, email (support@amarkets.com), and Telegram. Personal account manager assigned to each verified client. Response times average under 5 minutes on chat, a few hours on email.

Verdict — who is AMarkets for?

AMarkets is built for traders who want a wide instrument set, fast execution, and offshore-only regulation in exchange for flexible terms. The 552-instrument catalog is genuinely impressive — most offshore brokers cap out around 200-300 — and the sub-50ms execution on ECN accounts is real, not marketing.

It's not the broker for someone who wants top-tier regulation (FxPro and FCA-regulated peers), the longest track record (Alpari has 20+ years), or pure-ECN pricing leadership (Pepperstone and IC Markets). But for everyday trading across a very wide asset set on fast infrastructure, AMarkets is a well-built offshore choice.
